The AHF Model

The AHF program in response to the migration crisis in Latin America and the Caribbean seeks to mitigate the inequalities and improve the quality of life of people.

For this reason, we require the donors’ support to continue and expand our work in:

1) Antiretroviral treatment: with regimens based on TLD (Tenofovir-Lamivudine-Dolutegravir) for 98% of people, pediatric treatments based on Raltegravir for 1%, and other regimens for the remaining 1%.
2) Treatment of opportunistic infections: support to provide the necessary treatment for opportunistic infections that may affect patients.
3) Diagnostic Imaging and Special Procedures: We require support to ensure that patients can access diagnostic imaging and special procedures, allowing them to receive the appropriate diagnosis and treatment for their unique situation.
4) Clinical laboratories: help to cover the costs of the laboratories necessary for the start of care and follow-up of patients.
5) Nutrition and Food Security: Resources to provide nutritional and food security support to patients, ensuring they have access to a healthy, balanced diet that contributes to their general well-being.
6) Ground transportation: support to cover the costs of ground transportation for patients from cities where we do not have a presence, guaranteeing that they can access the comprehensive care they need.
Help us change the lives of those who need it most in Latin America and the Caribbean!
